Rinn Hanayacho Asagiri

The small and charming japanese townhouse. We arrived at Rinn Kyoto Station hotel where we received keycards to our house and we left the luggage there, because it was too early to check-in. They transferred our luggage to the house before 16:00, which was nice. The house itself was very cozy, with living room and the bathroom at the ground floor, and bed room at 1st floor. There is also a microwave, small fridge and a washing machine in a separate room. The bathroom was nice and effective and we also enjoyed the bathtub partially inside/outside the house. There is also very small garden next to the bathtub. During our stay it was cold outside, so we were using heating from the A/C which was effective. The house is 7 minutes from the nearest bus stop, and around 10 minutes from the train stop (which is two stops from the main Kyoto Station). The neighborhood is very peaceful and calm with local houses and people.

Super amazing and good for the price, it was very relaxing to be able to take a big bath at the end of a very long day. The bed was very comfortable, but if you want to sleep in, you might not be able to due to the curtains letting light through.

My brother and I stayed at this property for 4 nights and it was absolutely worth it! The reception was at a seperate location to the guesthouses but there was a complimentary taxi to take us there after check-in. Staff were lovely and welcoming, and also offered a few complimentary items for our stay. The house itself was beautiful and situated in a quiet but central part of Kyoto, very easy to use public transport from location with a maximum of 10-15 minute walk. The entire house was clean and tidy, basic kitchen amenities and a nice dining/ sitting area. Absolutely loved the traditional style while still having the modern comfort of air conditioning and heating systems for water. The toilet was a culture shock😂, only complaint there is the toilet space was a bit cramped but still easy enough for a 5’11 man. The beds were a dream😍 felt like sleeping on a cloud and they were easily separated into two twin sized beds. The bath tub was nice, quite small but relaxing to sit and enjoy a soak (recommend getting bath salts from check-in location). All in all, this place was exceptional and comfortable for two people and we both loved our stay. Would definitely return in the future!!

Checked in to the hotel, and staff arranged a taxi to this accommodation. Lovely townhouses, we were surprised at how little noise there was between them. Loved our stay here. Great bathroom, was happy to find a bath. Beds were very plush, not something we had encountered in Japan before this so it was a welcomed experience. From start to finish, this was a great experience.

The private residence was nice and homely, comfortable bed. The staff service was beyond helpful, so committed to good service. Staff available who speak English. They provide lots of nice bathroom products . The shampoo, conditioner, body wash all top quality, not cheap. The bed pillows and blankets feather down, so soft. Washing machine onsite if needed. Plus a small hot tub for 1 person at a time. It was good value.
